Get ahead for Friday July 16, 2021

The QQQ and SPY finally gave us a solid red day with the high growth names continuing their sell off from yesterday. It's a treacherous market for individual stock picking, at least if you want to hold a position overnight. The safe place to be for now is in the lower volatility value names and consumer staples. Breakout trades are a definite a no-no for now. This is a time to protect your hard earned capital, a better R/R opportunity will eventually present itself again.
